Hello and welcome to Telegraph Sport’s coverage of the second Euro 2025 semi-final. It’s a tense game tonight, as an unbeaten Spain goes up against eight-time European champions Germany. The winning team will challenge England, the current title holders, for the trophy in the final this Sunday.
Elsewhere, Germany and France offer a showdown between two European powers, while Switzerland will try to stay alive against a heavily-favored and more proficient Spain. Norway vs. Italy is probably the least thrilling on paper, but it’s a chance to watch stars Ada Hegerberg and Caroline Graham Hansen book a spot in the semifinals.
An ETIAS was reportedly originally planned to cost 7 euros per person, however, EU bosses, it's now been announced it will cost almost three times that at 20 euros per eligible traveller. Tourists over 70 and those aged under 18 are exempt, so for a family of four travelling with two children, the cost would be 40 euros.
This means for Brits flying to nations such as France, Spain, and Greece after this date, they will have to go through more security than before. As the checks will be phased in over the course of six months, the new system is expected to be fully operational by April 10, 2026.
