The following 8 prerequisite support courses are required for consideration into the BS in Nursing program: BIOL 2200 Microbiology for Allied Health Majors or equivalent (4 units) BIOL 2230 Human Anatomy and Physiology I for Allied Health Majors or equivalent (4 units)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing - CSUSB
Students in the Nursing major must earn grades of "C" or better in all nursing prerequisite courses, corequisite courses, and courses in the nursing major. If a grade less than C (2.0) is earned in any nursing major course, the student will be dismissed from the Nursing program.

Current CSUSB Pre-Nursing Applicants
Application Process for Current CSUSB Pre-Nursing Applicants. *Requirements # 1 - 9 must be met for an application to be considered. *Acceptance into CSUSB as a Pre-Nursing Student as a freshman. For more information on Pre-Nursing, please visit the Pre-Nursing website.

Jul 1, 2024 · A minimum Nursing GPA of 3.300 is required to apply. The Nursing GPA includes the 8 prerequisite and 4 corequisite courses completed at the time of application only —a maximum of 12 courses. All science courses are calculated as 4 units. All other courses are calculated as 3 units.

Pre-Licensure BSN | Department of Nursing | CSUSB
The prelicensure BSN program at CSUSB prepares the graduate to take the national RN licensure examination (NCLEX-RN) and begin professional nursing practice. The baccalaureate degree in nursing also prepares graduates for advanced nursing education required to enter advanced practice nursing roles.
• Complete all SBVC and CSUSB prerequisite and lower division GE requirements (See Table 1: SBVC-CSUSB CEP Pre-Nursing Pathway). • Meet the required minimum GPA as listed in the current catalog and ADN information packet.
