Karima Haynes, Assistant Professor, is the coordinator for Print Journalism. She joined the faculty in fall 2006 as a lecturer in print journalism. She serves as Coordinator of the Print Journalism Concentration and advisor to The Spectrum student newspaper.

May 21, 2024 · Karima A. Haynes is a 2019 Knight Visiting Nieman Fellow at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard. She is co-author of “Communications Internship Handbook: What HBCU Students Need to Know” (2022, Kendall Hunt), which won a 2022 Outstanding Book Award from the National Association of Black Journalists.

May 21, 2024 · The Pulitzer Center will welcome Karima Haynes on May 28 to our team as the new director of the Campus Consortium Reporting Fellows Program. Haynes will work together with current Reporting Fellows Program Director Kem Knapp Sawyer during the transition, including with the orientation of the 2024 Reporting Fellows cohort.
